August Endings

The last Monday in August. What's on the design wall?

Not much! These are my two fourpatch blocks made with fabrics from my latest quilt project. I have been making two from each project to make a "2009 Sampler". Don't worry, the fabrics don't really reveal much of the design. It's for my sister's birthday which is coming up quickly now.

Look! I even did BIG GIRL binding:) These neat corner pockets for hanging were found through a link at Blue Nickel Studios. It's a tutorial for putting a sleeve on Alzheimer donation quilts. It's a great idea - check it out here.

Just a few more bits and buttons to add. I can't wait to reveal this one!!

What's up on your design wall? See who else is playing along at Judy's blog.

Today is the last day of summer holidays for my daughter. I think we shall bake some cookies! Enjoy the endings and beginnings,

Sarah Vee
