Presents!

Hope someone did something nice for you on Mother's Day. I treated myself to a tripod!
I love it! I don't usually succumb to gadgets and accessories, but after reading a bit about taking good photos of your quilts, I thought it a worthy investment. I also used it later to record a dance my daughter choreographed for me for Mother's Day.:)

I worked on a few things this past week. I am almost done my 4th Lady of the Lake block for the week. I'm trying to do 4 a week and hope to have them all done in 3 months!
I'm really enjoying this project. I guess a few years away from it renewed my desire to see it done!!
I also got sidetracked using my leftovers fabric from my newest bag to create a small wallet.
Of course, with no pattern and only a faint clue as to what I was doing, it's much bigger than I wanted. So it will become a little purse, inspired by the directions
in this book.

here's the book:Here's the project inside:

So a definite present for a niece! Not telling which one:)
Have a great day.

So is it going to Calliope or Bronte?
Nice tripod. After a day of shaky shots while birding, think it might be a good investment for us too.
