Welcome to Week 7 of the Sew Much Fun Tour!

Each week a designer will be presenting a 6" (6 1/2" unfinished) block on the theme of sewing.
This week's designer is Sue of  Duck Creek Mountain Quilting

Last week's block was from Appliques Quilts and More

It was back to school and full time teaching this week so I'm pretty happy with actually getting my fabrics picked out :)

I took a closer look at some of the half yards of white Alison Glass fabric I purchased this summer and then promptly cut this piece out for the background of this block. Can you see the needle and scissors? I'm going to place my appliqued tomato and strawberry so you can still see this needle. Stay tuned ;)

Week 5 was from Maria at Limeleaves Design  ( I opted to make an alternative churn dash block instead!)
and Week 4 was  Laura Strickland of Orange Blossom Quilt Design Studio

The blocks will be free for the duration of the tour - 52 weeks - so you have time. BUT, if you see one you like, get it! Designers may ask you to sign up to a newsletter to receive their block. I encourage you to ~visit~ the blogs and check out the designers' work. While blocks are free, designers do put in time and it's great to receive feedback ;)

Next week the block will be from Nancy of Patchwork Breeze
then October starts with Carolina from Always Expect Moore
