The sunflowers are huge and glowing brilliantly in the cool fall air.

My grandfather died this week. I find myself reflecting on the change of seasons in Life.

I see more beauty in the small things.
Hear more joy in the children's laughter.
Feel more love in the cuddles and hugs.

My grandfather was Mohawk. Step grandfather, but really, wasn't.
He was the only one I visited.

Rita. I think I even saw some of her quilts at the Little Current quilt show earlier this summer.

I"ll be back Wednesday.

Enjoy the changing season,

Sarah Vee

Sarah, I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your grandfather.

Those quilts are beautiful. I love the thunderbird one.
