Prototype or Present?

I've been working on a present. This little purse is the result. It's not perfect, it's a prototype.




I tried to make something small for my niece whose birthday is today.
Happy Birthday!
It's my second attempt. And it will be late:)





I started out by deconstructing a sample of my Pockets of Love pillow cover.
It was a prototype too and wasn't quite right.
I'd been thinking about what else I could do with it.




When in doubt, make a bag!
But this bag ended up a little big for my petite niece.

Maybe she still wants it?




{Maybe her mom does?}


My Pockets of Love pattern is still available in the February Issue of Quilt Pattern Magazine.
I'm thinking about putting it out myself, with the additional options for making these 2 bags - or something similar.

I Heart Pillows

This seems like a timely post.

There is lots of LOVE in Blog Land right now for Pillows.
