I hope you are enjoying some virtual time visiting the show. I am!

Planning Ahead

I've also found a  quilt along that I think I'm going to start next month :)

This month is all about the Inventory Quilt Project and I am working on it and enjoying making another Liberated Churn Dash Quilt. But!

prayer flag fabric jelly roll

This will be a quilt along using a free pattern and a jelly roll. Of which I have one. Just one. That I have been hanging onto for . . . 10 years?

I made layer cake blocks that match 10 years ago - remember this?! And if you don't, go take a look as it's a pretty good bio about me and where I come from quilting-wise.

OK. Back to the quilt along. It will be using this pattern, Jelly Rainbow, is free from Moda.

The link will open as a pdf. Save it, you might need it ;)

It's being sponsored, cheered on, promoted by the Ruby Star Society designers.

layer cake blocks

I still have my layer cake blocks and am thinking about adding them to this pattern to make a bigger quilt. I have some yardage of one print in the line too. What do you think?

Here's hoping you can find - or make your own - rainbow soon too!

With Joy,

Sarah V.

p.s. here's the link to the rafflecopter for the Designers Quilt show again

Oh WOW! I made that quilt 10 years ago! I bought the only layer cake that my LQS had on sale (lots of rich, dark colours - not really the best for the quilt!) - and I made the quilt and donated it to some good cause...
How fun to realize that you designed one of the blocks!

Cool, Janet! Yep, I've held onto this jelly roll and the blocks for 10 years. This at home break is helping me focus on projects that I want done - for me :) Hope you're well!
