In the Mood for Quilting - and Starting something New!

>> Sunday, April 21, 2013

I think I learned a lesson today - or remembered one!
I had a really productive hour quilting a panel of my Halloween 1904 quilt. (designed by Blackbird Designs). My second panel to be quilted, this one in black thread.

What did I remember?

The JOY of being in the moment.
Not looking ahead to how many more panels there are (14!)
Not making lists, or thinking about other projects.
Just simply turning up some soul music (right now it's The Be Good Tanyas- especially this song) and quilting something for me.

Giddy with my accomplishment I threw myself into this quick gift.

MORE Joy, this time in pink ;)
