3 Joyful Finds

TIME

While my 2 year old practiced with scissors and glue, I played too.
Quickly.
No fussing and planning.
See, Feel, Do.
I used a glossy page from an old Monet book discarded from the library for the backing paper. The magazines are from there too - 5 cents each.
It's hanging in my sewing space.

FABRIC

I bought this skirt for $2.50 thinking it would make great bags!
Turns out, I may actually wear it!!

MUSE

I found my graph paper.
I started working on a design that I've been thinking about for weeks.
More ideas came out with the markers.
I just kept going.

REALITY

Back to it.
The pile of works in progress is hiding
{successfully}
the mending I always put off.
This time when I can see it again, I promise, to do it.
Promise.

With Joy,
Sarah Vee
