Design Wall

As Judy pointed out last week, there are only 3 more Design Wall Mondays until next year!

On the left you'll see I have 6 MORE Lady of the Lake blocks to complete. Then I will have them all pieced. I would like this step done before Christmas. Next year involves matching them into sets of 4 and finishing them with the "quilt as you go" style of Georgia Bonsteel.

On the far right are 2 blocks that begin my process into a new quilt. I would like to have at least 6 to 8 more of these blocks done by Christmas. They are for a collaborative quilt I'm working on with my sister. It's delivery date is by the end of next summer. Stay tuned . . .!

Also you can see some leftover mittens and my Christmas words that still need to be blanket stitched. I want to get those letters done as they are hogging alot of my pins!

Giveaway Winner!

I was very grateful and humbled by the women who commented on my 100 post giveaway. Thank you for your kind words. The comments were placed in a stocking of the appropriate size and drawn by my Assistant Elf.

And the WINNER is. . .

Megan! Who wrote,

"Wow, 100 posts! Way to go! And hopefully my name gets pulled out of the stocking this time. hehe"

Congratulations, Megan. I've already sent you an email. Please respond with your mailing address so I can get the goodies out to you in time for Christmas!

Check the links at Judy's blog to see what others have up on their design walls.

With Joy,
Sarah Vee

You're assistant elf sure is a cutie! I have a couple of those around my house, too, lol.

What a darling assistant elf! And I'm loving those blocks on the right -- can't wait to see what they turn in to. Good luck on the blanket stitching . . .

I've got to get my design wall back up. I'm working on a quilt right now that really has to have it.

YOur wall looks like mine, several projects going all at once.

Sarah,
I am taking some time to stroll blogs and should have done it sooner! Congrats on 100 posts!! Love your selvage stockings for Season of Grace. I gave my selvages away but think I can find enough to do one stocking. :-)
