And the Winner Is . . .

>> Sunday, December 6, 2009

I was truly amazed and delighted with all the comments I received! Thanks to Sew, Mama, Sew, there will be many quilters receiving some free gifts in the coming week.

Here at Sew Joy Studio (a very loosely applied term!) my Christmas stocking was used to put all of the comments in. This was a gift made by my mother-in-law, I believe, the first Christmas I was married. She did all the work! I love it.

Here is my Assistant Elf pulling a name from the stocking.

And the goodies go to:

"I don't do a lot of applique--there are too many things I like to do and not enough time. But my second choice for my daughter's Christmas dress was going to have an appliqued Christmas tree with a big bow instead of a star on top. The dress had big bows on the shoulders too...maybe next year...

Congratulations, Kelli! I have already sent you an email, so please get back to me quickly and I'll send your package out Tuesday!

The results from my questions were fun to read.
The most popular Christmas/ Winter symbol to applique was. . .

A Snowflake

The most popular colour combination for Christmas/Winter quilts was

Red and Green in varying shades

followed closely by
Blue and White

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me. It made reading your comments very enjoyable for me.

I am having a BIG email hiccup today and hoping it resolves by Tuesday because. . .
I'm having my 100 Post Giveaway!

Now there's another chance for you to win! There will be another Friendship bag - because I had enough to make two:) There will be more goodies too - things I'm still making and taking pictures of to post for you.

Thank you for all of your support.
Welcome to my new Followers, and enjoy your day.

Tomorrow I'm off to do my first Sew In. There will be a brief post with before pictures here tomorrow. Then AFTER pictures, well, after the giveaway!

Remember to come back Tuesday to enter to win. Have a joyful day.

With Joy,
Sarah Vee
