My design wall is quite empty this morning! This past weekend was a 'ketchup' funfest with Pat Sloan. And ketchup I did.
I got all the inner blocks assembled and the first border on the picnic quilt.

I put ties in more than HALF of my OP quilt. I'm very happy with how it's turning out!

So is my daughter who will receive this quilt. In more than 12 years of quilting, the first bed size quilt for someone in our house! Mostly I've made all the nieces and nephews baby quilts. I guess they're growing up. And wedding wallhangings. And purses. And doll blankets. And table toppers.
What's left to do this week? Three more of each type of block you see on the left. Houses, applique flowers and courthouse. These will border the picnic quilt. And of course, as many Lady of the Lake blocks as I can handle.:)

Another hot day here already. My sewing space is a bit cooler with the design wall flannel tablecloth blocking out some of the morning heat. But by the afternoon the front side of the house is pretty warm. So we'll see how much I get done in here. Plus, I'll still be tying my OP quilt - in the coolness of the basement:)

EnJoy your time sewing,
Sarah Vee

I love your picnic quilt, you got a lot accomplished this weekend. Lady of the Lake is right up on the top of my want to make list.

Love those colors!

It's going to be warm in my neck of the woods. 90s
