Off the Wall and Back to School

>> Tuesday, September 7, 2010

A true procrastinator, I found other things to do this long weekend besides my intended projects!

A new buttercup bag for fall with some Kaffe fabric that I have been saving for a very long time. I was extra happy to find I had saved a half yard and not just a fat quarter - so now I have some left to play with.

My sister gifted me with this book when she moved this summer.

Of course I HAD to make the cookies!!!!! Their blog is lots of fun and so is their fabric. Check out their website here.

No Design Wall Monday for me this week as I'm trying not to start anything new.
I did spend some time making this. . .

into this

More scraps cut down and organized, ready to play with another day. Once another project is complete.

Today is my daughter's first day back to school. I'm hoping that means more productive sewing time.

We'll see what my 3 year old son has to say about that!

With Joy,
Sarah Vee
