Auditioning Orange

>> Wednesday, September 16, 2009

Can you guess for what?

I need three of them in Orange. . .

And one in Tan/Cream. . .

This is the pattern -

and fabric that I have bought over this past year . . .

It's as if I was PLANNING to make this quilt all along!

It's called Hallowe'en 1904 by Blackbird Designs (as you can read in the photo above). I purchased my copy from Pat Sloan's website - you can find it through her blog.

This lucky one will be made into another project - perhaps a pillow for my front porch?

I am supposed to be finishing up other projects before I get to this one. It's for NEXT fall! But, I have been cutting out background squares so I can do some of the applique SOON!

I love this pattern.
It is giving me a lot of motivation right now.
All the orange helps too:)

I still need to find another orange with some black in it.
Shucks, shopping for (one of) my favourite colours!!

ENJOY quilting for the season and planning/dreaming about the next one!

I love the orange and the concept of colour auditioning.
