I have been cleaning up my space and pulled out some of the blocks I found. Those "Peace" and "Joy" letters STILL need to be blanket stitched! I think these blocks, while all in Christmas colours, will end up being in different projects. I love the Dutch puzzle block. I may make that a centre to a medallion quilt. The candle is a strip of batik fabric I found and a gold leaf. Not sure if or what I'll be doing with it yet. But I like to look at it!

I'll share more clean up photos throughout the week. And hopefully some finished UFOs.
Maybe next week I'll be back to designing! Go see what's up with the quilters who join Judy every Monday.
I hope you have a joyful, productive week.
(I still have to take down my Christmas tree!)

It looks very nice and tidy! I like the polka-dot storage container under the table. Did you make that? :) Take care, Dianne B. in England
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to have an organized quilting room, isn't it. Mine is organized but gets messy every week. At least it is now easier to clean-up and return everything to its place.

Very inspiring...I need to do the same thing.
ReplyDeleteThose UFOs have a way of multiplying if you put them away in a dark space, lol.
ReplyDeleteYour design wall is cool!
There must be a virus running amongst us quilters to get their sewing environments in order!! I'm doing a lot of clearing and cleaning in my room too. I'm actually hoping to be able to finish it up tonight, so I can sew again tomorrow. Thanks for the photos, more inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteI am so much more productive when my area is clean! I'm impressed as even the insides of your drawers were straightened!
ReplyDeleteI'm doing the same thing. I've been organizing and want to finish up some UFOs. Just getting some of the old unfinished projects completed will cut down on the clutter.
