My Most Popular Pattern!

Liberated Churn Dash QUILT Pattern

This quilt was made for my husband. He picked out the backing fabric first! I created my first liberated churn dash block using scraps in a rainbow of colours; he asked me to make him a quilt with the block - using NO orange! This quilt is the result.

Pattern guides you through the steps of foundation piecing your own liberated churn dashes in the two sizes I used to make my quilt. Lots of photos and tips throughout. Pattern was tested for accuracy and clarity. Make it modern, make it scrappy, make it now!

Selvage JOY! Pillow Cover

I designed this pattern after finally using some favourite fabrics for a quilt back. I wanted to put the selvages to use too and now I made an accent pillow to match my quilt.
AND a pattern to share with you:)

Materials required include:

fabric selvages {I use cotton} cut minimum 1 inch wide and 18 inches long. You will need enough to cover an 18 inch square - approximately 324 yards. Don't be scared off by the quantity - if you've saved selvages from 1 to 2 quilts, then you should have enough.

You will also need 2 pieces of cotton fabric for pillow back:
1 - 16.5 x 9 inches
1 - 16.5 x 14.5 inches

And one piece of 18 inch square muslin or cotton for the foundation.
