I designed this pattern after finally using some favourite fabrics for a quilt back. I wanted to put the selvages to use too and now I made an accent pillow to match my quilt. AND a pattern to share with you:)
Materials required include:
fabric selvages {I use cotton} cut minimum 1 inch wide and 18 inches long. You will need enough to cover an 18 inch square - approximately 324 yards. Don't be scared off by the quantity - if you've saved selvages from 1 to 2 quilts, then you should have enough.
You will also need 2 pieces of cotton fabric for pillow back:
1 - 16.5 x 9 inches
1 - 16.5 x 14.5 inches
And one piece of 18 inch square muslin or cotton for the foundation.
