Monday Morning

My morning off was spent catching up on my quilt.
The pattern is Halloween 1904 by Blackbird Designs.

I almost regret my randomness now when piecing the inner tan squares together. I have been trying to mimic the essence of the pattern quilt in how I put together the black and tan half square triangles. I think the whimsical effect of the different fabrics is working. Really delighted with all of my polka dot fabrics!

I started block 15.
I love how I can add this bright pink and orange Kaffe Fassett fabric to this quilt.
Perhaps my favourite thing about quilting is getting to play with all the colours of the rainbow.
This one still needs blanket stitching around the stars.

Lots more hst making this week!

What quilt are you enjoying making this week?

love the blocks...great color in the first ones. I am an earthy person; I guess.
