Leader and Ender Projects

>> Friday, November 9, 2012

My mini spools leader-and-ender project slowed down a bit in October. I did more machine quilting in my quilting time than piecing. {that's my excuse!}

Plus, I've started using one of my UFOs as a leader-and-ender project.

Halloween has come and gone again and still I am working on my Blackbird Design's Halloween 1904. I have just started to work on the hsts. Here are some orange and tan ones. There are way more black and tan ones which I haven't even started on yet - a good reason to start doing them as my leader and ender project!

I won't be sewing the hsts onto the center of the blocks yet because the shelf I store the blocks on isn't deep enough!

Here's the shelf with all of my supplies for this quilt on it. I plan to keep working away on this one and hopefully have it done for NEXT fall!

Good luck with the Halloween 1904 quilt. It's looking good and the orange is so you.
Like your spool blocks too. Can't wait to see what you do with them all.
