A Finish in the Making

>> Friday, January 7, 2011

My full size ironing board is up in my sewing space this week.
See the block laying there? It's for my Halloween 1904 quilt!
This quilt is going to be my "leader and ender" project this year.

I needed to press my seam open on this backing.
I'm glad that I found a place to use these large Amy Butler prints.

My 2010 String Quilt is now pinned and ready for sewing.
Looks like my year is starting off with a finish! Yay!

With Joy,
Sarah Vee

Can't wait to see your string quilt finished. I just need Judy to pick #12 in the UFO challenge and then I will finish mine too. Maybe I'll work on it before, if I can find the time.
Looking forward to your Halloween 1904 progress this year. How big is it again?
