Picking out Fabrics

Here's my little helper with his measuring tape ready to help!
{note the date: Feb 2009}

Playing with layouts
My cat inspecting the sashing. {too green!}

Quilt top ready for buttons
So happy I used up some of Granny's stash - the red border was her fabric.

Back of Quilt

More of Granny's fabrics used!

A Prize Incentive

Which I won!
Great goodies from
Pat Sloan and Emilie Richards
{there was some thread, too!}

Biggest Reward

Two happy kids with a finished quilt!
Ready for a Candy Cane Countdown!

{I hung the stockings up *backwards* and will turn them over one at a time.
Somehow it worked out that they all have the same backing except four
- one special treat per row!}

The free pattern is still available through Pat and Emilie's sites.
Click here {and scroll down!} to start planning yours:)

Sarah Vee

Looks great Sarah! Sam really grew up - although he is wearing some of Nova's clothes in both pictures (ahh, to remember when Nova was that small).
Enjoy the treats!

that is so awesome.. I just have the small one and have to fold it over when the gift is too big for the pocket, which is almost every day!
i love it.... thanks for the idea.
