Finding Inspiration on Vacation

>> Monday, July 12, 2010

I was away with my family for a few days enjoying the fresh air and enjoying nature.

I find ideas for quilt shapes and colour combinations looking everywhere
- especially UP -
in the forests.

I really like the contrast of the dark branches in this tree limb.
It reminds me of decorative top stitching on a quilt.

Which is about as much quilting as I'll get to this week as well!
We are off to Pancake Bay!
Beaches and Lake Superior.

I'll be back to regular posting when life gets back to 'normal' and I get some quilting time.
For now, I'm trying to enjoy the inspiring views and the refreshing outdoor time with my family.

With Joy,
Sarah Vee
