Design Wall Monday

Congrats to HAPPY in INDONESIA!!
THANKS FOR VISITING. THANKS SEW,MAMA,SEW.
DESIGN WALL Monday
Two design walls on the go this week. My regular design wall has these strip blocks ready to make a birthday placemat for a niece. The plan is to make it look like a butterfly. I'm also using my bi-fold closet doors so I can take pictures of my flying geese borders. Who knew a queen size bed was so long?! More of these to go. I had to go get more thread this weekend to keep going. I'm sewing them together in pairs then making the lengths required. Check out the other design walls linked at Judy's blog.
SEW, MAMA, SEW Giveaway Day! Giveaway is CLOSED. 'Happy' won!
My giveaway is for this set of 4 selvage coasters. I made them myself! They each measure just under 6 inches square.
They all have the NEST bird print on the back {or the front!}
TO WIN: Leave a comment telling me what you sew for your home besides quilts. {I'm thinking curtains, pillows, tea cozies etc.} For a Second Chance: Leave another comment telling me what colours you would use to make placemats for your home {inside or out}
I will ship Internationally.
You can leave a comment until NOON Eastern Time, May 20th. Winner will be drawn randomly from ALL COMMENTS THAT HAVE EMAIL ADDRESSES. That means, if you are a no-reply blogger you need to put an email address in your comment. They are black with tiny white polkadots on one side, the other is this great fabric with black/red/yellow/turquoise kitchen-y items in a diamond pattern that I found at sew mama sew's shop. They will have a little utensil pocket I'm thinking in red with tiny white polkadots. And I'm thinking to stitch in some turquoise blue bias into the border, eep!! :)
    Next on the list is a bunch of cloth napkins that the kids will love! Brighter colors and patterns, or linen color with embroidery or appliqueing on them! thanks!
