Thanks for joining the giveaway.
I'm mostly scared of applique, but my favourite motif would probably be stars. As for christmas colours, the only "christmassy" project I've made was a dozen placemats for my mom - reds and greens with gold metallic accents.
Sarah
I haven't appliqued anything yet. As for christmas colors, I'm not real big on red and green mixed, but I do like red/white or green/white combos, especially in stripes.
I'm currently loving the combination of cream and gold - classy christmas
my fave color combination is the red, white and aqua in my figgy pudding quilt I'm working on. Thanks for the giveaway!
i like silver and white
I haven't appliqud, soas far as the Christmas colors to sew traditional red and grean varying shades.
I love to applique, and have a soft spot for beautiful snowflakes, although gingerbread men are sweet too.

Thanks for the chance to win!
What a nice giveaway!! I have never appliqued before and I haven't done many patterns but my favorite would be just squares sewed together, nice and simple!!
I've never tried an applique. But my favorite Christmas colors right now are winter whites with some lighter green and reds/oranges.
Thanks for this nice giveaway!
I'm not good enough for applique (although I would love snowflakes). But my favorite holiday colors are blue and white, because those colors feel like cold and snow and holidays. Besides the obvious red and green I mean.
Oh thank you for this chance!! I love to use red and white with silver for Christmas, Yet you cannot beat the good old red/green!
I haven't appliqued for years(since I was a girl and my grandma showed me how). But, my favorite color combinations really vary. I seem to have room themes going on. I have red and green in the kitchen and blue and silver in my living room. My bathroom has light blue and silver. I haven't stormed my kids' rooms yet!
For Christmas I really like red, green, and gold combined. Very traditional I know but it's nice. For winter I like blue and silver.
Not patient enough for applique. I like good old red and green for a Christmas quilt. Thanks for the opportunity!
I don't applique, fav colors would be red with a sage green OR brown/red. Thanks!~
I don't do applique...but I love to use dark green/red and gold for Christmas. I also like blue/sliver for wintery items!
My favorite shape is the star. Colors would have to be bold red/green/pink/white. Great giveaway!
Oh I love these pre-cut kits. The best! I do applique but haven't ever done Christmas - go figure. Favorite colors are in the blue/white theme.
I haven't tried applique yet, but I am wanting to try it...so we will see if I get the courage!! As for color combos, I love the traditional red and green, but I also like blues and whites together.
I love to work with snowmen as they last all winter long instead of a month...
I have not appli. any Christmas items... but I love the CHristmas colors lime green and pink - It's a bit untraditional & I love it. Have a wonderful Christmas.
simply.simon.sisters(at)gmail(dot)com
One of my favorite Christmas quilts I made had lots of pink in it. So unusual but turned out very nice. Otherwise I really like the retro looking Christmas colors.
I've only done a little Christmas applique, most of it this year! But I liked doing the holly leaves, because you can add them to so many things and make it even more Christmasy!
I havn't done applique yet, but my favorite Christmas color combination to use is a bright red apple red, with a bright lime green! Very retro modern!
mc.crafty.bunn at gmail dot com
I'm really big on appliquing stars, though turning those corners on the machine makes me think bad thoughts sometimes. I'm really into Christmasy blues and greens, especially mixed with silver. It stands out to me.

I think a mitten is the sweetest applique!
I love lime green, pink red and tourquoise combo for Christmas--I know crazy eh?
and yet I love the regular just red and white and green too...
snowflakes are my favourite thing ever but I've never tried to do a snowflake applique
Wow! Great giveaway prize. I like to applique trees and stars. However, the process is made easier for me with my embroidery machine.

Although I like traditional green and red, I love a blue/white combination as well.
Hmm I've been working on all sorts of Christmas shapes lately for my Christmas Advent calendars. So far the Gingerbread man would be my favourite to applique.
Haven't appliqued anything, but I do like a simple, yet classic red and white
I haven't really appliqued but snow flakes would be cool. I like the typical red and green for christmas. But I do love figgy pudding with the aqua this year.
I like the combination of white with blue or white with red.
Snowflakes! Which reminds me, I have a snowflake wallhanging that I started last year...hmm...maybe I should finish that. :-) Thanks for the reminder!
I have done some applique, but nothing for Christmas or Winter. As for Christmas/Winter quilt combinations I have two favourites - pale blues and white; and deep red, dark green and light brown (the country, "homespun" kind of look).
I have never done applique yet but want to try it in the new year. My fave color combo is classic red and green, but i think that that is changing now that i have seen so many fabrics our there
Well.. I haven't tried to applique yet and I haven't made any christmas quilts either. If I did make one I would love the snowman look with blues and winter whites. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

Great giveaway - although so far my attempts at applique have been pityful, sorry I am not there yet. I do like the (ordinary) red - green combination with some gold in it. Thank you!

Lately I'm really into soft blues and whites for Christmas.

Ooh, I was just telling my husband that I want to make one of these sometime but haven't made the time to do it! I haven't yet attempted to applique but I would love a new tree skirt with appliqued snowmen around it. Maybe someday I'll work up the courage...
I LOVE that cheery read and light/bright blue thats along the brightness of aqua but not anywhere near that green. Do you have any idea what I am talking about? Add either a rich green or a close to lime but not too bright/yellow green to the mix, and somewhite...ahh (oh think Moda's It'sSnowing line from last year!)
SWEET! LOve that it's ready fo a table runner- how did you know I wanted to get one more done for the Holidays? Thanks for hosting this giveaway. Happy Holidays.

Shawna
My favorite applique for Christmas has to be Santa. And my favorite colors for a Christmas quilt would be red, white, green. :o)
I haven't done applique yet, so I'll go for the second question :-) I love blue, so anything with blue is my favorite. Blue with gold, blue with red, blue with white, and you get the idea :-) Thanks for the chance!

I don't do a lot of applique--there are too many things I like to do and not enough time. But my second choice for my daughter's Christmas dress was going to have an appliqued Christmas tree with a big bow instead of a star on top. The dress had big bows on the shoulders too...maybe next year...

You made me think with your question! Thinking back over the years of the appliques I have done It would have to be snowmen! Thanks for the give-away and Have a Blessed Day!

I love all Christmas colors but I am a traditionalist - red and green are my favorite.
Warmest regards from a Western Canadian quilter,
Anna
I'd have to go with the traditional red and green. Thanks for the giveaway!
I made a Christmas wall hanging once with snowflakes appliqued on it - I loved how they turned out :)
My first applique project was a Christmas wall hanging with snowmen. It was cute and I would do it again, but I was a little nervous doing it for the first time. Thanks for the chance to win!

My favorite winter color combination is red and white! Traditional candy stripes always get me in the Christmas spirit, so red & white are a natural first choice for me. :)
My favorite Christmas symbol to applique is either a tree or a candy cane--fairly simple and adorable on a tee for my monkeys. And I was wanting to make a new runner for the holidays! I sure would put this to good use.
Second question--I've gone with red and white and a bit of silver this year with my Christmas decorating. I also include greenery but I'm more into red and white as the main colors.
