Pillowcase and Plants

My niece will receive this funky pillowcase later this week. Today is her birthday. . . belated, but done!

I had a mini marathon quilting session this weekend. Trying not to start new things I can't finish.
Easier said than done!

And on a completely different note, but in the picture - our little African violet has bloomed. We just bought it last week in the grocery store. 

Not sure which is more ridiculous - the tropical plant blooming in January in northern Ontario, or US for buying tropical plants in our grocery store in January in northern Ontario!
