Thursday Take Three

Here are 3 photos of some of the things I've been up to this week in my sewing space:

I finished one of two November stockings. I'm doing the free BOM Season of Grace hosted by Pat Sloan and Emilie Richards. I really like him - his red buttons are actually part of the fabric. The stocking is resting on a background for yet another new design project I'm working on.:)

A tree 'block' that I'm trying to decide how to bind. I think it's going to be a large potholder. It's another arrangement of the trees. I now understand why/how designers get into making a series - sometimes you have so many ideas bloom from one thing and you just go with it! I'm having fun:)

This picture is of 'fun to come'! See that plastic bag in the foreground? I'm starting to collect my selvages to make - something. What, I'm not sure yet. If you check out Pat Sloan's Quilt Mashup she's working on starting the Red Zinger quilt (you can substitute your own 'zinger' colour!) This one could be a slippery slope. . .:)

I have been blog hopping with the Cross Country Christmas designer blog hop. Again, Pat Sloan is on it and you can find the links on her blog posts. Plus, I've been jaunting around to the designers who made the 100 blocks in the Quiltmaker magazine. Lots of chances to win some great stuff. A fun way to check out some new blogs too.

Hope you are enjoying your week!

With Joy,
Sarah Vee
